Welcome to Ebic's Vanilla+, a personal take on the Vanilla+ genre with simplistic, but appreciable changes and enhancements.

EV+ has been custom-tweaked and thoroughly tested by yours truly, ensuring you'll be provided with the best experience while playing, right out of the box-- Though you can freely tweak the configs as needed.

A header displaying that this modpack is for Fabric 1.21.1 only.

Just a heads up, this pack will only be available for Fabric 1.21.1 and onward, there are no current plans to port it to Forge or backport it to earlier versions of Minecraft. Sorry!

Enhanced Adventures & Exploration

You'll notice several immediate enhancements and changes within the world shortly after you arrive for the first time. Semi-amplified world generation (thanks to Tectonic) gives way for titanic mountains and deep caverns, with flowing water & magma rivers that carve through anything that may stand in their way. This adjusted and enhanced terrain makes for epic exploratory adventures, or expeditions deep into the caves below.

Archaeology has recieved a total expansion at the hands of Better Archaeology, creating new opportunities for the player to discover, uncover, and display unique findings they've collected. Ancient Enchantments and other relics may also prove useful to you, should you manage to acquire them...

Early/mid-game transportation methods have recieved a much needed buff, to assist in exploring such large spaces. Changes to minecarts have effectively doubled minecart speed, while Faster Paths give the player a passive speed boost while running atop Path Blocks. Saddles & horse armor can also now be crafted, to ease the process and remove the necessity to loot Dungeons & Mineshafts.

Such a grand world-scale requires an equally grand engine to run it all, and I can attribute that credit to Distant Horizons, greatly increasing the potential render distance while hardly impacting performance.

The horizion turns orange as the sun lowers across a Stone Mesa. A display of what the configured Shaderpack and Cubic Sun/Moon appear like combined.

Improved Building & Self Expression

As you progress and continue to adventure, you'll likely desire a permanant (or at least shiny and custom) set of armor to go along with you on your journeys. Previously, only armor could be customized through Trims, but this is no longer the case-- Thanks to Trimmable Tools Your equipment can now be uniquely customized with Trims as well!

When it comes to expressing yourself through building, EV+ has you covered. Thanks to a slew of different mods (namely Excessive Building and Stoneworks) you have a much larger palette of blocks to choose from, giving way for much larger variety in builds. The sun sets down on a house by the dock. A build made by me to showcase the new and versatile building options.

Incredible Visuals & Optimization

Naturally, Minecraft has notoriously not run very well, and EV+ aims to remedy that as best it can. Classic (and obligatory) performance-enhancing mods including Sodium, Lithium, as well as a slew of other (smaller) performance-boosting mods that come together to greatly and positively impact Minecraft's performance.

Additionally, quality and visual mods (specifically Iris, Visuality, and Wakes) give the game an additional layer of visual quality, with the previously aformentioned optimizations preventing these additional graphics from lagging the game.

Pre-tweaked Resource/Shaderpacks

Ebic's Vanilla+ comes with a variety of Resource Packs, as well as my personally recommended Shaderpack that works very well with Distant Horizons. These packs all have been tweaked to give a distinct look to the game while you play, while also attempting to compromise between visuals and performance.

Naturally, these are all optional, but greatly contribute to the experience if used.
